The firm's diversified practice areas include Corporate, Government, Healthcare, Education, Church, Retail/Mixed-Use, Recreation Facilities, and High-End Residential Homes. Position Overview:
LDD is seeking a professional architect with 7 years career experience. The candidate will work with a local and established associate of Lyman Davidson Dooley to provide leadership and management for a new office in Lexington, Kentucky. Together with the Nashville office, the candidate will cultivate new relationships and partnerships with prospective clients, consultants and other vested interests in the area, as well as, develop, manage, and coordinate projects between Nashville and Lexington.
Qualifications:
Licensed Architect with minimum 7 years experience
NCARB certification required
Thorough knowledge of general architectural practice with extensive experience in all phases of architecture
Ability to meet with existing and prospective clients and maintain client relationships
Experience in facilitating and coordinating marketing efforts, architectural responsibilities, and maintaining quality control measures
Technical Knowledge of AutoCAD 2005 and Revit
Knowledge of design and presentation software (i.e. Photoshop, Sketch Up, PowerPoint) is a plus
LEED Certification or experience with sustainable design is preferred
This is a Principal Track appointment contingent upon level of performance.
